Didn't get around to drawing yesterday, so had to make sure I got 15 today. As before, it's mostly facial practice. And like before, it's mainly hit or miss. =/ I think I'm getting a better hang on noses, but the mouths and general proportions are still a mess. Oh well; "it's only by going through a volume of work that you will improve."

I've been working on some new projects, but they are going slow and are stuck in the foggy sketch mode. So here is a rough color of an old sketch idea that was inspired by a VAST song. I used an oil brush I downloaded for GIMP, but shrinking the image down makes it look more like a fabric texture. :/ I guess maybe it's one of those that you have to ( Read more... )

This is posted early since I finished it; a painting requested by my Grandma. It is a window. Watercolors, done on 9"x12" paper, which makes it the largest painting I've done so far?
